Impact Wrenches
Compare pneumatic impact wrenches by square-drive size, working torque range, handle configuration and air requirements. The CP 0611 and CP 6120 listings include model-specific specifications for heavy fastening work. Start with the fastener application and required access, then match the socket and drive connection. Maximum torque alone does not describe the complete working setup. Selection guide below →

Selection Guide
Choosing A Pneumatic Impact Wrench
Choose around the fastening job, then compare the drive, torque specifications and air supply.
1 Define The Fastening Job
Identify the fastener size, required torque, access and whether you are tightening or loosening.
2 Match The Drive
Check square-drive size, socket retention and an impact-rated socket suitable for the tool.
3 Compare Working Specifications
Review the working torque range, tool weight and air requirements for the exact model.
Impact Wrenches Questions & Answers
How Do I Choose Between Drive Sizes?
Match the tool’s square drive to a suitable impact socket and the fastening application. Compare torque range, weight and access at the same time. A larger drive does not by itself establish that a wrench is the right choice.
Is Maximum Torque The Same As Working Torque?
No. The catalog lists a working torque range separately from maximum torque. Compare the relevant figures for the application and direction of operation, and follow the required procedure for final fastener torque.
Can I Use Any Socket That Fits The Drive?
Use an impact-rated socket with the correct drive and retention arrangement. Check its suitability for the tool and fastener. Physical fit alone does not confirm that a socket is intended for impact use.
Why Do Handle Style And Tool Weight Matter?
They affect how the wrench can be positioned and supported in the available workspace. Compare the full tool dimensions and handle configuration, especially where the fastener is recessed or access is restricted.
What Air Requirements Should I Compare?
Use the model’s listed airflow, inlet connection and hose requirements. Keep track of whether the stated airflow is an average figure or measured under another condition when comparing specifications. Browse Air & Whip Hoses →
How Do I Order A Replacement Anvil Or Other Part?
Identify the exact wrench model and drive configuration, then find the component in its parts drawing. Include the model and part number so different drive versions are not confused. Find Impact Wrench Drawings →
