The Sullair MBT-6 is a legacy Pneumatic Backfill Tamper for compacting soil in trenches, around foundations and beside poles. JackHammers lists Airrex 1310 and 3410 Tampers as replacement options.
When replacing an MBT-6, match the Tamper to the working footprint and application. Existing butts and attachments may not fit a replacement model.
